Friends of QFG is a non-profit and voluntary organisation that supports those undergoing treatment for infertility at the various Queensland Fertility Group branches in Qld.
The Friends of QFG Inc began over 25 years ago in 19…… with the establishment of the Queensland Fertility group in Brisbane. We currently have over 1800 members.
All members of the Friends of QFG committee are volunteers and are either current or former patients of QFG. We are based in Brisbane but offer regional support with volunteers in various areas of Qld.
The aim of the Friends of QFG Inc is:

Advice – to provide the opportunity for members to ask questions, share feelings, concerns and experiences

Support - To provide a supportive network for members

Knowledge - To keep members informed on infertility and related matters

To continually seek improvement in the services available for infertility
Our role is to ensure that the above objectives are met as well as the needs and views of our members are met.
We provide support to our members via a range of activities such as a Quarterly Newsletter, monthly Cuppa N Chats, updating books in the Library, the website, Facebook, the Buddy system via phone calls & emails, as well as more interactive activities such as Pamper Days, Art Classes, Dinners, picnics and Movie nights.
